Darkly oxidised copper earrings featuring large hand crafted oval hoops, wire wrapped at the bottom for texture and dangled with a small turquoise magnesite bead.
The heart of the earrings are two oval hoops that I've soldered, shaped, hammered and polished and have broken up the smooth shape with a wire wrapped section at the bottom. They're currently fully oxidised, but if you'd like them polishing back more to an antiqued finish, please ask.
The turquoise beads are stabilised and dyed turquoise magnesite, which is a natural mineral that is predominantly clear or chalky looking in nature, but takes dye well to mimic the appearance of more expensive gemstones.
The earrings hang 56mm (2.2") overall from the top of the large classic earwires and the ovals are 17mm (0.65") at their widest.
