Antiqued copper necklace, entirely hand crafted with a feature wire wrapped loop bail, hung with a fabulous stripey acorn shaped glass bead and accompanied by Czech fire polished faceted crystals. The necklace comes as a set with matching green crystal and chain drop earrings.
The pendant has been hand polished then antiqued to highlight the textures. The central feature bead has orange, yellow and green swirly stripes and is topped with a hand crafted bead cap and fire polished crystal and shouldered on each side with a pair of double wrapped fire polished crystal rondelles in an olive green.
Please note that the main feature bead looks very orange in the photographs, as it does indeed in daylight. But under artificial light, it looks significantly more of a golden yellow. I have never known a bead to change hue in this manner, but it must reflect the lighting spectrum differently from the various pigments within the glass of the bead itself.
The pendant hangs 58mm (2¼") overall from the antiqued copper cable chain, which fastens with my own hook and loop clasp. The chain will be made to order for you and can be any length you like up to 760mm (30") - please specify your preference during checkout; a default length of 18" will be sent if no size is specified. The pendant hangs approximately 18mm (0.7") wide in wear. The earrings hang 39mm (1½") from the top of the earwires and are 7mm (¼") wide.
