Wire wrapped squiggle and flower earrings

Entirely hand crafted long drop antiqued copper earrings featuring a squiggle of hammered copper, wrapped with a tendril of copper wire terminating in a cupped hand crafted flower blossom with a central molten bud.

The core feature of these entirely hand crafted earrings are a pair of long hammered squiggles cold formed from a length of heavy gauge copper wire. It has been hammered along the length with flattened ends. The top has been drilled with a hole for the large classic shaped earwires and the bottom has been shaped into a round paddle.

Near the base they have been extensively wire wrapped with a cupped flower I've made from copper clay and is held in place by the molten bud at the end of the wire - it's loose enough to jiggle as they move. All cut ends have been polished smooth and the earrings have been antiqued and hand polished for colour and interest.

The earrings hang 61mm (2.4") overall from the top of the earwires and hang 10mm (0.4") at their widest.
