Reversible copper coil pendant - 2 looks in one necklace

This is a simple enough pendant, a single length of heavy gauge copper wire coiled into a loose spiral, with the end turned into an integral bail.

The difference lies in the finishes given to it, allowing it to be worn from both sides, giving a very different look. One side has been hammered to give it little facets that catch the light, the opposite side has been sanded very smooth by hand and given a satin finish, which feels lovely to the touch.   Please ensure that you look at the additional photographs - [+] More Images - to see the other side.

The bail was centralised over the coil to allow it to be worn either way and hammered flat, then the ends were filed to prevent snagging and the entire bail was hand smoothed and polished to a high gloss finish. 3 hand rendered finishes in the one piece. It was finally extensively tumble polished for strength and final finishing.

It will be supplied on a black PVC cord, finished with hand crafted copper coil cord ends and my own hook and loop fastening. The entire necklace has been hand crafted from raw wire. The clasp area shown in the photographs is unfinished, I will make the necklace to the length you require it and polish the findings to match, so please specify size when checking out. Please also ask if you'd like something different.

The pendant drops 36mm (1.4") overall from the cord and is 26mm (1") at its widest. The bail has an internal diameter of 6mm (¼") which will allow it to be worn on other chains and cords.
