Lapis blue pendant wire wrapped with copper

Copper wire wrapped pendant featuring a large, wide torpedo bead of a vivid blue stabilised lapis, with a hand crafted copper washer 'cap' at the bottom.

This entirely hand crafted pendant features a fat torpedo bead of stabilised and dyed lapis, which has flashes of pyrite that glint in the light and it includes a lovely marbled pattern of blues.

The bead sits on my own hand crafted balled headpin and a flat copper washer.  The bail loop has been wrapped with a finer gauge of copper wire and the main wire spirals over the top of the bead to create a top 'cap'.  The pendant has been antiqued to enhance the texture of the wrapping and bring out the warm tones of long-loved copper.  All cut ends have been filed smooth to prevent snagging.

The pendant drops 40mm (1.6") overall from the included antiqued copper cable chain. The pendant is 12mm (½") at the widest.

Chain length:

The antiqued copper cable chain fastens with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp and will be supplied 18" (460mm) by default, but if you'd like a different length (up to 30" within this price), please let me know and I'll make something else to order for you. 

Please note that as chains are made to order for each customer, they are polished to match the pendant, where the ones used in photographs are 'prop' chains that don't necessarily match as well, as they are used for more than one design.
