Earrings featuring dark clusters of molten copper

These entirely hand crafted earrings are made from solid copper which has been heavily oxidised and polished to a gorgeous dark glossy warm gunmetal colour.

Each earring features around 40 molten blobs of copper which are loosely looped onto a heavy gauge wrapped loop, which hangs from hand crafted ear wires.

There are several stages and processes to making these earrings from melting the copper, cleaning and polishing, through forming the earrings, oxidising and more polishing, making them quite labour intensive, which is reflected in the price.

The balls, which look like little black olives or tiny grapes will move and jiggle about with you. They hang 33mm (1.3") overall from the top of the earwires and they hang approximately 18mm (¾") at their widest in wear.

They have been heavily oxidised, then extensively tumble polished to give rise to this glossy warm dark tone.
