Domed pendant with champagne CZ stone on rope necklace

One of a kind antiqued copper necklace with a striking looking domed circle pendant sitting in a rigid central section of twisted copper wire rope. The copper clay pendant has been textured with a hand drawn design with a flower design and features a gorgeously sparkly large champagne coloured cubic zirconia stone set in a raised mount in the copper.

The back of the pendant has a discreet and integral loop bail which allows it to sit proud of the rope section, but also move freely. There is a hole behind the CZ stone allowing light through it for additional twinkle. One of the additional photographs has been taken without my lighting diffuser to try and capture the how much the gem sparkles, but you need to see it moving and catching the light to do it justice.

The pendant sits in the middle of a rigid curved section of hand crafted copper rope. The rope has been twisted and spiralled from two lengths of fine copper wire and terminates in two loops that connect to the heavy weight antiqued copper belcher / rollo chain, which closes with my own hand crafted hook and loop clasp.

The domed circle pendant is 33mm (1.3") in diameter and drops 29mm (1.1") below the necklace. The central rope section is 130mm (5") wide and the necklace overall is currently 570mm (22½"). I would suggest that it would look best worn at collarbone length, so I have left it a little long to allow it to be adjusted for fit, so please let me have your required size during checkout.

What is copper clay:

Copper clay is a clay like medium made from tiny particles of copper, combined with an organic binder and made into a pliable clay or paste with water. After working with the clay-like medium to form the article, it is thoroughly dried to remove all of the water, the shape is further refined and then fired at high temperature to both burn off the binders and to cause the copper particles to fuse together as solid metal.
