Copper and bronze necklace wrapped with buds and flowers

Antiqued copper and bronze necklace, randomly and loosely wrapped with budded wire and festooned with lots of hand crafted copper and bronze flowers.

The core feature of this entirely hand crafted necklace is a central hammered section of heavy gauge copper wire which has been extensively freeform wrapped with copper wire, some of it twisted into a rope, with lots of molten copped buds or ball ends and features many hand crafted flowers - made by me from copper and bronze clay. All cut ends have been polished smooth and the necklace has been antiqued and hand polished for colour and texture.  I have used an assortment of copper and bronze buds, some left rosy, some oxed and some polished, to give rise to a subtle range of warm deep golds and reds.

Sizes:

The central wrapped section measures 105mm (4½")  and joins to the matching antiqued copper filigree chain with two hand crafted oval jump rings. The flower section is approximately 15mm (0.6") at its deepest.

The full chain necklace at present measures 585mm (23") but I would suggest that it is worn shorter at collarbone length, I've just left it long to allow for shortening to taste.   It will close with one of my own hand crafted hook and loop clasps - a general clasp photograph is shown if you select [+] More Images.
