Entirely hand made Sterling silver earrings with faceted blue glass rondelles and Sterling silver accent beads.
The earring pins were formed by melting the end of some silver wire into the largest possible blob which was then hammered flat and shaped and smoothed. This was used as a feature headpin with the glass rondelles and silver beads and the end looped with a long collar of wrapping coils. The finished earrings have then been oxidised and polished back to shiny, to emphasise the details.
The earrings hang 29mm (1.1") overall from the top of the hand formed earwires which have been hammered slightly for strength and the ends filed for comfort.
