This hand crafted necklace brings together two of my favourite techniques and shapes - a twisted teardrop loop pendant with a rosebud knot at the base. This antiqued copper pendant has been made from a single piece of heavy gauge wire, cold forged by hand, through several stages, to the shape you see.
The teardrop of the pendant has been twisted at the top to create and integral bail and hammered and extensively hand polished to a smooth and lustrous finish. It has been antiqued to bring out the textures of the rosebud knot.
The pendant hangs 37mm (1.45") overall from the chain and is 19mm (¾") at its widest. It comes on a nice weight and quality of solid copper belcher chain that fastens with my own hand made hook and loop clasp. The chain is made up to order for you, up to 24" (610mm) in length, so please specify when ordering what length you would like it. If no size is given, one 18" long will be sent by default.
Please note that this pendant is not currently available from stock, but would be made to order. Please allow me around a week to custom make one especially for you.
