Elegant long dangles of Sterling silver and round labradorite beads. These would be excellent business earrings to add femininity to a business suit.
The basis of the earring is a hand made bead headpin with a generous bud of silver on the end, which holds a 6mm (¼") diameter round bead of labradorite in place, suspended below a long tube of Sterling silver and further beads of silver.
These labradorite stones seem to take on different colours depending on the light - sometimes they look quite green and translucent with a dark matrix, then other times, as under my photography lights, they're more grey with occasional flashes of intense electric blue - which I deliberately lit them to try and show. The earrings hang 40mm (1.6") from the top of the fine gauge hand formed Sterling silver earwires, which have been lightly hammered for strength and the ends rounded for your comfort.
