A new design of antiqued copper earrings featuring my rosebud knots, this time in the centre of a long looped and wire wrapped link and finished with a pair of vibrant pink raspberry jade wire wrapped beads.
Each earring features a long connecting link made from a single piece of copper wire, which has been knotted and shaped into a double loop and finished with the ends wire wrapped around the core. The end loops have been hammered and polished to finish the look and the earrings antiqued to warm the tone of the copper and enhance the texture of the wire wrapping and knot. The dyed raspberry jade dangles have been double wrapped on my own ball ended headpins. All of the cut ends have been polished smooth to prevent snagging.
These long drop earrings are 58mm (2¼") overall from the top of the small classic earwires and the dyed raspberry jade beads are 10mm (0.4") in diameter.
