Antiqued copper earrings featuring a hammered teardrop shaped loop, each hung with a hand crafted solid copper ivy leaf.
The ivy leaves have been hand crafted by myself from copper metal clay and each one has been shaped individually to take on the natural and individual contours of a leaf. Each leaf hangs from a teardrop shaped loop which is wire wrapped at the top and the loop hammered for shape and stability.
The earrings have been hand polished then antiqued to bring out the vein texture of each leaf and the wire wrapping at the top of the loops, giving the lovely warm tones of aged copper.
The earrings drop 66mm (2.6") overall from the top of the hand crafted earwire and the leaves are 16mm (0.6") at their widest.
Please note that these earrings have been re-made and are not the pair shown in all of the photographs, but are of the sizes specified above. The loops are a little longer than shown in some pairs, but they are the ones shown in the main photograph above.
