Antiqued copper earrings featuring a Celtic style knot in solid copper, hanging beneath a gorgeous glossy black onyx bead.
I originally tied the knots featured in these earrings in fine leather and took a mold from them to re-create them in solid copper. So the earrings do show some of the creases and characteristics of the original leather versions. They are however flat and plain on the back.
These substantial earrings hang 56mm (2.2") from the top of the wire wrapped earwires which each have a single onyx bead above the knots. The knots hang 13mm (½") wide and are quite heavy, so please be aware of this if you don't enjoy wearing larger earrings.
The earrings have been antiqued to enhance the texture and details of the knots.
