Copper heart earrings

Entirely hand crafted copper heart earrings.

I've made two fluid asymmetric heart shapes in copper wire, soldered them closed, hammered them lightly, then polished and finished them, to hang from long straight drop earwires, which are wire wrapped closed for additional detail and texture.

The earrings hang 43mm (1.7") overall from the top of the earwires and when they hang naturally, they are about 25mm (1") at their widest. The earwires have been hammered for strength and the ends rounded for your comfort, the ends of the wraps have been filed smooth to prevent them snagging in your hair too. The earrings have been tumble polished to a high shine and the hearts are hung symmetrically so you can get a slightly different look depending on which way you wear them.

I have left them as raw polished copper, but if you would like a different finish, they can either be oxidised or antiqued, but please allow a little extra time for me to do this for you.  See the [+] More Images for an example photograph of the alternative finishes.
