Antiqued copper scroll necklace wrapped with rosy buds

Entirely hand made necklace in copper featuring a hammered lute shaped pendant, generously wrapped with buds of rosy molten copper.

The core of this necklace is a hammered lute shape of oxidised heavy copper wrapped generously with buds of molten rosy copper. The central pendant has been finished in large scrolls which have been wire wrapped directly to the antiqued copper chain, which fastens with one of my hand crafted hook and loop clasps.

The pendant shape has been deeply oxidised and the wrapped sections only have been polished back to show as brighter accents against the dark copper. The chain and clasp have been polished to match.

The central pendant drops 50mm (2") overall from the chain in wear and is 42mm (1.6") at its widest. At present the chain is 530mm (21") long with the view that it would be easier to shorten than lengthen it.
