Antiqued copper and Indian Fancy Jasper bracelet featuring spiral wrapped lantern shaped stones and a hand crafted copper toggle clasp.
Indian Fancy Jasper comes in a gorgeous range of colours, from deep blue-greens to burgundy and pale cool greys. I've chosen a range of colours for this bracelet, but have matched the same tonal quality of them. The stones are a softly faceted lantern shape with a deep gloss polish. Each stone is spiral wrapped with copper wire and the links joined together with jump rings.
The bracelet closes with a hand crafted toggle clasp. The toggle bar is formed with a heavy gauge piece of wire, wire wrapped for texture and interest and the loop end of the clasp has been made in copper clay. The toggle is oval shaped with a slight curve to allow the bar to sit neatly in place and it has been textured with my own hand drawn flower pattern. This is a one-of-a-kind bracelet.
Toggle clasps are easy to fasten one-handed and I craft and measure them very carefully for a reliable closure and safety in wear. They won't come undone by themselves, but that also makes them a little more fiddly to fasten - you need a little ease in the fit to allow the bar to pass all the way through the hole to fall back into place.
Bracelet fit:
The bracelet has a fit of 161mm (6.33") and is 20mm (0.8") at its widest, at the toggle bar. This is a good average fit and will comfortably fit most ladies; it's perfect on me, but if you'd like it a little larger, I could add a further link, which would add around 19m (¾") to the overall fit.
