Amethyst and Sterling cluster necklace and earrings

A generous cluster of grade A amethyst semi-precious round beads, in an entirely hand crafted necklace. Each amethyst, of the most fabulous purple tones, is securely wrapped on a hand made generously sized ball ended Sterling silver headpin.

The depth and shape of the cluster is achieved by hanging them from a short length of hand made loose linked chain. The bottom amethyst hangs slightly longer to give a pleasing finished shape.

The bail of the pendant is a generously sized loop of heavy gauge silver, wrapped in more silver wire.

The necklace has been antiqued, by oxidising the silver, then polishing it back to shine the proud surfaces and leave texture and contrast in the wrapping.

It hangs from a fine weight Sterling silver curb chain which fastens with a bolt ring and loop clasp. The chain is currently 508mm (20") long but can be adjusted shorter if you let me know.

The amethyst pendant drops 48mm (1.9") overall from the chain and each stone is 6mm (¼") in diameter. The internal diameter of the bail loop is 6mm (¼") which will allow it to be transferred to other chains or necklaces with ease.

Matching earrings:

The necklace comes with a pair of matching earrings - with one amethyst semi precious gemstone each, wrapped on a generously balled headpin in a slightly heavier gauge of silver. They have also been antiqued to match the necklace. The earrings hang 26mm (>1") overall from the top of the hand formed earwires, which have been lightly hammered for strength and filed smooth for your comfort.
