Hammered Sterling silver necklace wrapped with silver buds

Entirely hand made Sterling silver necklace featuring an oval pendant, hammered, antiqued and wrapped with buds of molten silver.

This necklace features a large hammered oval of Sterling silver which has been wire wrapped at the bottom with 3 chunky buds of molten silver.  The oval has been hammered for texture and hangs from a matching bud-ended wrapped bail.  The cut ends on the back have all been filed round to prevent snagging.

The pendant has been antiqued to bring out the detail of the wrapped wire and hammered texture.   It drops 56mm (2.2") overall from the chain and is 25mm (1") wide.

It comes on a fine belcher / rollo chain which can either be fastened with a bolt ring, or one of my own hand crafted Silver hooks and loops - I have allowed for up to a 500mm (20") chain within the price, longer can be supplied for a modest supplement.  The chain will be made to order for you to your requirements, so please allow me a little extra time for this.  The chain shown in the photographs is shiny silver, but it can be antiqued or oxidised for you if you prefer.  I also keep snake chains in stock and heavier belcher / rollo chain.  Please discuss your preferences when ordering.
