Copper hammered ring and goldstone earrings

Entirely hand crafted copper earrings with a hammered copper ring accented with a small and very glittery goldstone bead wire-wrapped to the ring with copper wire.

Each copper ring has been formed, soldered and then hammered for strength and texture and then tumble polished for shine. The rings each hang from a hand formed copper earwire with a suitably large hanging eye to allow the rings to move.  The end of the earwires have been rounded for comfort.

Goldstone is a manufactured semi precious gemstone which is predominantly clear glass with inclusions of copper salts that give it the coppery brown colour and the sparkle from the trapped crystals.

They have been left as the original bright and very polished copper which will naturally age to a much more mellow red, then gradually darker brown. If you would like them either oxidising to black, or antiquing to a more aged appearance, please ask, but allow a little extra time to do that for you.

Each earring is 38mm (1½") in length overall from the top of the earwires and each ring is 25mm (1") in diameter.
