Antiqued Sterling silver twist earrings with lavender coloured jade drops

These entirely hand crafted earrings feature a long straight rigid drop of twisted Sterling silver with gorgeous lavender coloured bead dangles of dyed jade.

The central portion of the earrings was made by twisting a soldered loop of Sterling silver and leaving an eye at each end, which are hammered for texture. The earrings hang on my own hand crafted 'classic' earwires from the top eye and the bottom one is used to hang the beads. Each bead is wrapped onto one of my own ball ended Sterling silver headpins.

The beads are gently faceted and glossy and are a gorgeous subtle mauve colour.

The earrings have been antiqued to bring out the texture of the twists and they hang 52mm (2") overall from the top of the earwires. The semi-precious gemstones are 8mm (0.3") in diameter.
