Hammered and antiqued copper paddle earrings

Entirely hand crafted earrings featuring a hammered drop of solid antiqued copper dangling from long earwires.

Each earring features a long drop of hammered copper that has been hammered for shape and texture and the edges rounded and polished for comfort in wear. Then they have been fully oxidised. Once black, they were extensively tumble polished to give the oxidised copper a lovely gunmetal sheen and the proud edges polished off slightly to bring out warm copper highlights and show the pattern of the hammered texture.

The drops hang from my own long curved earwires of which the ends have been rounded for your comfort. The earrings hang 63mm (2½") overall from the top of the earwires and are 5mm (0.2") at their widest.
