Faceted amethyst and Sterling silver pendant necklace

The focal point of this Sterling silver necklace is a lovely large faceted amethyst stone.

It hangs on my own large teardrop paddle pin and is accompanied by Sterling silver saucer beads and the top has been extensively wrapped below the bail loop, which has been hammered lightly for strength.

The whole pendant has been antiqued to bring out the details by oxidising then polishing back the proud surfaces.

It will be supplied on a necklace of gorgeous pure silk hand dyed string - hung so that the purple section will be adjacent to the stone - it also graduates to blues and greens along the length.

The necklace will be completed with one of my own hand crafted Sterling silver hook and loop clasps, similar to the one in the additional photographs. I will make the necklace to order when you purchase, so please let me know how long you would like it - to a maximum of 20". If you would prefer chain or something different, please feel free to ask about alternatives. Please allow time for the necklace to be completed after ordering.

The pendant measures 34mm (1.35") overall and the amethyst is 12mm (½") in diameter. The internal diameter of the bail is 3.5mm (0.15").
