Copper Byzantine chainmaille bracelet with Serpentine

The bracelet is made from links of Byzantine chainmaille in a heavy gauge of copper wire, linked together with fully secure wrapped loops of a glossy green semi-precious gemstones Serpentine.

The bracelet closes with a hand formed hook and ring fastening, which is easy to fasten one-handed.

The finished bracelet has been lightly antiqued by oxidising it, then largely polishing it off on the proud surfaces, to give it the patina of a well worn and loved piece. Copper will gradually darken over time, but you can polish it to the colour required if you prefer.

The fit of the bracelet is 165mm (6½") and the average diameter is around 8mm (0.3") - the Serpentine beads are 11mm (0.4").   Please see the 'How to Order' page for more information on bracelet fit and measuring your wrist.
